Children 16 years old and younger, MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian. It a parent or guardian cannot be present, a signed and dated Waiver MUST be provided to H.S.W.H.S. All visitors to the Sanctuary need to follow the volunteer guidelines as listed under the Volunteer tab.

All of our paths and roadways are 3 to 4 inches deep of sand. There are no paved roadways on the Ranch. Anyone needing to use a wheelchair or walker will find it difficult to navigate through the Sanctuary, but it is not impossible as long as you bring an assistant.

We have several programs available, each designed to help the equines and volunteers. Some of the programs include, room & board exchange, community service groups, and Scouts earning merits badges.
